The unit is headed by Dean of Grant Government Medical College Dr. Pallavi Saple, Head of the Department of Community Medicine Dr.Geeta Pardeshi, and Associate Professor Dr. Rakesh Waghmare.The healthcare staff at RHTC Includes Assistant Medical Officer, Lady medical officer, Dental surgeon, nursing staff, sanitary inspector, and lab technician. RHTC serves as a primary training centre for students of Grant Medical College Mumbai,offering them hands-on experience in community medicine and public health.
Late Smt. Ramabai Vishnu Dandekar was a visionary leader and healthcare pioneer in Palghar village. Recognizing the critical need for maternal and child healthcare services in the region, she founded the Mata-Bal Sangopan Kendra, the first maternity hospital in Palghar. Through her tireless efforts and dedication, she provided essential healthcare to mothers and newborns, significantly impacting the well-being of the local community.
